What’s been happening:

I started at Ogontz campus, and graduated PSU with a BS in Speech Pathology,1976. I received my MS in Communication Disorders, 1977 from Bloomsburg State College, now BU. I received my Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (MSCCCSLP) title, issued by American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and worked 1 1/2 years in nursing homes in/around Philadelphia, my hometown. I had the "guts" to move to Jacksonville, FL to work in the Department of "Corrections"-29 years, AKA public school Speech-Language Therapy, with professional nickname "Mrs. Lips!" I met my husband, Bruce, 1984 in Jax, married in 1986, and, have been serving a Life Sentence together ever since. My (tri) specs: at PSU, I had long dark lox, now short salt & pepper; thin is now a sin; and, I have had "intestinal fortitude" to meet/greet/defeat life's challenges.
